About the College :-
The college was established in the academic year 1996-1997, as it was a branch of Omar Al-Mukhtar University, then in the academic year 1998/1997 it became independent under the name of Derna University, until the academic year 2004-2005 it returned to Omar Al-Mukhtar University, Derna branch until now.

Faculty Vision
The College of Arts and Sciences works to be a distinguished center by spreading awareness of the importance of scientific research in the undergraduate studies, through continuous updating of educational programs, courses and educational systems to keep pace with modern developments, and seeking to develop the administration of the college and its scientific departments .

College Message :-
The college offers academic and applied programs in various basic sciences with the aim of preparing a distinguished graduate capable of research, innovation and competition in the labor market, conducting high-value scientific research, distinguished scientific dissemination, employing human resources and applied research to provide training and scientific consultancy services in many fields.
